Privacy is our priority. We understand you may share sensitive things with Mira, and we take that responsibility seriously. In short:
- Your conversations are encrypted.
- We do not use your conversations to train models.
- We do not sell your data or use advertising trackers.
- Our team does not access your conversations in the ordinary course of business.
- You can delete your account and your data at any time.
We collect the information you provide when you create an account, such as your name, email address, and phone number; the content of your conversations with Mira, including voice; and feedback you choose to share. We use this information to provide and improve the service, personalize your experience, and keep the service safe and reliable.
Your conversations are encrypted in transit and at rest. Conversation content is additionally encrypted at the application level before storage and is retained while your account is active. Our team does not access your conversations in the ordinary course of business; limited access may occur where necessary for security, legal compliance, or to keep the service running, and such access is restricted and exceptional.
We use your information to operate the service, maintain quality, safety, and reliability, and communicate with you. We do not use your conversations to train models, and we do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
We work with a small number of service providers, such as AI, hosting, and communications providers, that process data only on our behalf and under agreements that protect it. Our AI providers do not use your conversations to train their models, and may retain limited data for a short period solely for security and abuse prevention as described in their own policies.
Mira is not designed for use in a crisis and is not an emergency service. If crisis signals are detected, Mira surfaces professional resources such as the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline and Crisis Text Line. Conversations are not continuously monitored by a person.
Your data is retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is removed from our active systems; residual copies may persist in backups for a limited period before being removed. Contact privacy@trymira.coach with any questions about a deletion request.
You may access your data and request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. We support applicable privacy rights, including those under the CCPA and GDPR. Contact us to exercise them.
The service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post changes here and update the date above.
